Volcanoes have always held people in awe. Huge, intimidating monsters capable of destroying all life in their path during an eruption. The history of the Earth has many such catastrophes in its memory. And, it seems that they bring only death, destruction, and no forces will not help nature to recover.
Time passes, and we observe a magical picture of miraculous rebirth. The landscape changes and grows emerald green, waterfalls hit the ground, lakes and new riverbeds appear with mesmerising beauty. The result of such natural cataclysms was the formation of the Tolmachevsky dol and the Bear Bowl maar lake. It was named so because you can meet bears in the nearby berry bush. But the bear is not as scary as its Masha. So, be careful!
The pleasant excursion filled with impressions will end in a comfortable thermal pool at a cosy recreation centre far away from civilisation.
07:00 a.m. - transfer from the accommodation places by off-road vehicles to Tolmachev dol,
11:00 a.m. - hiking to the crater of the maar "Bear Bowl" (after rains the path can be slippery, you need shoes on hard corrugated soles).
12:00 p.m. - transfer to Tolmachevo Lake
01:30 p.m. - walk on the lake, lunch
03:30 p.m. - transfer to thermal springs (choice: Apachinskiye or Nachikinskiye)
07:00 p.m. - approximate time of return.
