Kliuchevskaya Sopka is the highest active volcano in Eurasia. It is located in the territory of modern volcanism and the largest centre of glaciation of the peninsula called the "Land of Fire and Ice".
As a result of the Great Crack Tolbachinsky Eruption of 1975-1976 formed places that today especially attract travellers: the Dead Forest, lava grottoes, cinder cones of the Northern and Southern breakthroughs, and, of course, the Gorge of Statues with its fantastic relief. In November 2012, there was a new grand eruption. Today you can see how the relief of the Tolbachinsky dol has changed - whole fields appeared, which are piles of lava up to 15 metres high.
The flight to the Kliuchevskaya group of volcanoes takes 2 hours and 15 minutes. It is possible to include additional landings in the programme, please contact managers for details.
