Dachnye springs-fumarol site of Mutnovsky volcano, which is located on the territory of the geothermal station of the same name.
It was formed tens of thousands of years ago by natural means. A small cosy valley, from where jets of sulphurous gas and steam burst out with power, small mud and clay cauldrons boil. Multicoloured stones, flowers of incredible beauty complete the image of the primordial earth.
On the way back we go to the waterfall on the brook Tranquil-Snezhny Bars. The brook is calm, but the waterfall is definitely not. It is full-flowing, noisy, strong. In clear weather a rainbow is formed in its splashes. According to Koryak belief, the rainbow is the skirt of the raven Kutkh, the ancestor of the Kamchatka land. Who knows, maybe Kutkh really does come here on holiday.
08:00 a.m. - transfer by comfortable off-road vehicles from the accommodation places to Mutnovskaya Geothermal Station. On the way - stops at Zaykin key, Paratunka river, at the foot of Vilyuchinsky volcano, at the top of Vilyuchinsky pass. The journey will take about 3 hours.
11:15 a.m. - safety briefing, walking to Dachny springs (about 2 km) through Mutnovskaya geothermal station - the first and the most powerful in Russia. Excursion programme, inspection of miniature boiling cauldrons and fumaroles, bathing in springs, tea drinking.
01:00 p.m. - return to the car park, transfer to the waterfall "Snow Leopard".
02:30 p.m. - walking (10 min) to the most beautiful waterfall.
03:30 p.m. - return to the car park, transfer to the thermal springs under the open sky, swimming, rest, lunch
